In an age of information overload, the power of the image has increased tenfold.
It is estimated that 81% of communications in 2019-2020 will be visual.
With so much visual noise influencing our experience of the everyday, what happens when the flow of information is disrupted or distorted?
Who decides which images are deemed unsuitable or obscene?
My work is an examination of the role of the image in our cut and paste culture and the impact of censorship and withholding information from the viewer.
